08.30 Updates!

Hello:

I hope that everyone had a refreshing weekend! Here are a few reminders for this week:

Wednesday September 2nd Scholar’s Persuasive Letters are due

• We will spend Monday and Tuesday in class peer editing and working on conclusions. Homework for TUESDAY will be to publish (re-write) their letters and produce a final copy to be turned in Wednesday.

Friday September 4th MAP Test

• Students will be tested on the geographical features that we have been focusing on the last 2 weeks. Scholars will be taking notes Tuesday and Wednesday on class presentations to reinforce the amp skills that we have been working on. This will be taken home to study Thursday night along with their vocabulary packet.

Our IRL assignment for this week is SUMMARIZING.
