Mind Movies

Teaching Point: Readers understand stories more deeply by making a mental movie and revising it.

Scholars will be illustrating the events that happen in their book. When complete the mind movie should flow in order along with the text. Scholars may choose to use a different format, but the requirement is to have illustrated the text. Students may choose to include short text bubbles. See eaxample below:

In class students will work on revisions and we will talk about how mind movies help us understand the characters and events in our stories more deeply.
