Updates 10/23

Hello all: We are so glad that we had the opportunity to speak with everyone this week for conferences. We had some great discussions and gained some great insight about our scholars. Remember we are all here to support the scholars and if there is anything else we can do to help support them, please let us know. During our debrief, Ms. Higgins and I decided that we had many great goals to work twoard. We decided to have the scholars write their goals on a piece of paper and decorate it. This helps them take pride and ownership of their goals. We plan on getting them laminated and displaying them in the room. This will help us remember the scholars goals, help the scholars remember their own goals, and allow our scholars to support each other with their personal goals. We are all in this together and we are all here for each other. By the middle of the week we should be done with these posters and well on our way to starting to achieve our goals. SCHOLARS are bringing home whiternarrative writing in a sheet protector tonight. They are to finish writing it, handwritten, tonight for homework. They are to make sure that they bring them back with them tomorrow because we will be typing them in class tomorrow. They conferenced with me today and they are aware that they need the following in their story: Conflict Rising Action Climax Falling Action Resolution Protagonist and Antagonist We have studied these elements of plot in detail and we have been working with these narratives for 2 weeks. They look great so far and I cannot wait to see how the final products turn out. We have such creative minds in 4th grade at Kindezi!
