Hello!

I hope that everyone had a restful break and enjoyed some quality time with family and friends. I missed all of the scholars dearly! Can you believe we only have 3 weeks until winter break? Time is flying so fast.....

* If you are still having trouble getting onto Engrade please let me know. You can stay up to date with your scholar's grades by gaining access to or live grading system. Let me know if you have any questions!

* I will be out this Friday due to my father having knee replacement surgery. I will be available by text or email. I have left a detailed sub plan and I have spoken to our sub about the expectations for the day. The scholars know as well.

* Ask your scholar about their research! They are doing such a great job as young researchers as they investigate their topics. Ask them about their thesis statement and how their introductions are looking!

* We are starting the American Revolution next Monday in Social Studies. Get your scholar thinking by asking them:

- What were the Revolutionists fighting for?

- Who was oppressing the colonists?

If you have any questions please let me know! Be sure to look at your scholar's Wednesday folder and return it to school Thursday :)
