Families of 4th grade students,

We are excited to announce our class trip for the 2015-16 school year! We will be visiting Nature’s Classroom, where students and teachers will enjoy hiking, team-building, outdoor activities, and fireside reflections. Students will be engaged the entire time in outdoor learning and fun and all meals will be provided while at the center.

We will be working hard up until the trip to raise money and lower costs to you. See below for the tentative payments required for the trip. We hope to lower costs through fundraising, and will notify you of any price decreases as they are made possible. The payment most likely to be lowered is the final payment.

Spring Trip Payments Required:

$15 due Wednesday, January 20th (non-refundable deposit)

$65 due February 24th (refundable in the case your child can not attend)

$65 due April 27th (refundable in the case your child can not attend)

Fundraising:

We will be doing 3 fundraisers to help pay for the trip:

1. 4th grade will be selling candygrams for $1 for Valentines Day. They will be sold at school the weeks of 2/1/2016 and 2/8/2016.

2. I have set up a GoFundMe to raise money to be distributed amongst the 4th grade. PLEASE SHARE this on your Facebook with friends, family and coworkers.

This will occur after the February break.

The $15 deposit is non refundable. The $65 deposits are not refundable if you decide to not send your scholar on the trip. If your child is ineligible due to behavior, to be decided by teachers and administration closer to the date, they can be refunded the $65. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
