I am so excited to be a teacher at Kindezi! I live in the Atlanta Old Fourth Ward community, and taught in Gwinnett County for nine years. Before I moved to Atlanta, I received my undergraduate degree in English education at Miami University of Ohio. I also have a Master's of Arts in teaching from Brenau University. Through my education and experience, I have come to find that children will believe in themselves as much as we believe in them. I set high expectations for my students and I help them meet those expectations. Everything I do as a teacher is driven by my love for the children in my classroom, and that love keeps me motivated to work hard for them every day. When I'm not in the classroom, I like to stay active. That means running, practicing yoga, hiking, and anything else that keeps me moving!
